MAPLE SYRUP SCIENCE

Connecting science to the lives of our students is essential in making connections and increasing engagement in the classroom. In 2016, we began tapping maple trees on our property. Our first year we tapped 39 trees, and in 2017, we tapped 83! I have provided access to our data collected during the past 7 seasons (2016-2023) as well as videos, photos, lesson plan ideas as part of this project.
